We have an exciting opportunity for a Container Gate Coordinator to join our Yard Operations team, reporting to the Manager of Container Yard Operations. The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.

·        Verify the acceptance and release of containers entering and leaving the terminal

·        Perform and update container interchanges into the Company’s computerized terminal management software

·        Inspect containers as they enter and leave the terminal

·        Coordinate truck pickups and arrivals

·        Respond to email and phone calls

·        Sweep / wash the inside of containers

·        Monitor refrigerated container temperatures

·        Prepare inventory reports as required

·        Maintaining cleanliness of yard

· Dangerous Goods training
